What to include
For individual work, a brief indication of why you are making contact and your preferred language is enough at this stage. If you are asking about supervision or consultation, please include your professional role and the kind of work you want to discuss. For teaching, indicate the audience and subject you have in mind.
You can simply ask to arrange an initial consultation; a clinical history is not needed in this form. For group therapy, indicate whether you are enquiring for yourself or on behalf of a service. Please leave out names and identifying information about other people.
Replying to enquiries
I read enquiries personally and usually reply by email within five working days, although response times may occasionally vary. Please check your spam folder if you are waiting for a reply.
If you are enquiring about individual work and I have capacity, I will suggest an initial consultation and confirm the practical arrangements and fee before we meet.
